Our teaching professionals will discuss your goals and tailor an instruction program just for you. Together, we will build you a swing that will last a lifetime.

Semi Private Instruction

By far our most popular lesson series is our Semi-Private instruction program. We encourage our clientele to find friends of similar skill set and enjoy our customized semi-private lesson program in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Whether learning to play or taking your game to the next level, we have found that group sizes of 2-4 students gives our instructors the opportunity to work with both the group but also give individual instruction. Ralph Kuster Jr Clinic

We’re excited to announce our upcoming Junior Golf Clinic, designed to help young golfers improve their skills and enjoy the game!

Whether your child is just starting or looking to refine their techniques, this clinic offers expert instruction and a fun environment.

Hosted by PGA of Canada Teaching Professional, Ralph Kuster. With over 30 years of teaching experience, Ralph has helped a number of junior golfers across the province go on to receive golf scholarships in the United States and Canada.

 

Juniors will be instructed on all of the aspects of the game of golf, including:

  • Golf Swing Fundamentals
  • Alignment
  • Chipping and Pitching Methods
  • Putting and reading greens
  • Trouble/Specialty Shots
  • Fairway and Greenside sand trap shots
  • Playing in Weather Conditions
  • Golf Course Management Skills
  • Physical Fitness
  • Mental Approach to Golf
  • Key rules of golf
  • Golf Etiquette
  • Training Equipment and Training Aids
  • Video Analysis of the golf swing sent via email to each junior

Ladies Golf Day - Tuesday September 24th

Join us for a full day of golf, designed for women by women.

Starting our day with a Yoga for Golf session with Bobbie Reid, yoga instructor, Thai Assisted Stretch message practitioner, Reiki healer and owner of “You Are the Miracle”, which will get our bodies ready for a fun filled day of golf instruction, and lunch with wine tasting. We will finish up the day with 9 holes of golf, concluding with wrap up and draws for prizes.

Golf Day Price = $76.99 + HST

What’s Included: Lunch, Wine Tasting, Yoga, Golf, Giveaway and Raffle Prizes

*Power Cart can be purchased for the round of golf on the day of the clinic for $10 + HST*

Lisa Fleming

CGTF Teaching Professional
18 years ago Lisa discovered her love of golf. As an accomplished athlete in softball, hockey and broomball, she turned to golf on a dare. That dare sparked a passion for the sport. In the short amount of time Lisa has been golfing she has won ten Gold medals at the Canadian Forces Regional Golf Championships and has garnered two Gold and two Silver at the Canadian Forces National Golf Championships. As a member of the Canadian Forces two-person Ladies team, her and her partner won a silver medal at the CISM Worlds Golf Championship in Windhoek, Namibia.

Since leaving the amateur ranks 8 years ago and becoming a teaching professional, Lisa has won 4 Championship titles in the Ladies Division of the CGTF Teachers Cup. After 32 Years of service with the Canadian Armed Forces, Lisa wanted to combine her love of the sport with her desire to teach, thus leading her to complete her Level III certification with the Canadian Golf Teachers Federation. As a retired Snowbird, Lisa and her husband spend their winters in Florida where she volunteers with The First Tee Program of Lakeland. Lisa is excited to be returning to the Roundel Glen team and continuing her Junior Program, Ladies Clinics and Private Lessons.

Ralph Kuster

PGA of Canada Teaching Professional

Ralph is excited about his role as an Instructional Coach at Roundel Glen and Trillium Woods Golf Clubs beginning in May 2022. Ralph has over 28 years experience in the golf industry which features an apprenticeship at the Board of Trade Golf Club in Woodbridge, Ontario under the late Murray Tucker, one of only a handful of PGA of Canada Master Professionals.

Over his career, Ralph has held the position of Head Professional in the Peterborough and Belleville areas. He has resided in Foxboro, Ontario since acquiring a home there in 2000. Ralph has a track record of delivering excellent service to members. Over the years, he realized that helping people improve their golf game was where he got the most enjoyment and where he ended up spending most of his time. During his career with the PGA of Canada, he has also written countless articles on every aspect of the game of golf.

For the past 9 years, he has been the Director of Golf Instruction at the Rivermead Golf Club in Gatineau, Quebec with many of his juniors and adults competing well at regional, provincial, and national tournaments

To date, Ralph has instructed 23 juniors (male and female) who went on to receive golf scholarships in the United States. He also has found great joy in that many of his students have chosen a career in the golf profession. Ralph looks forward to contributing his part to the success of the Roundel Glen and Trillium Wood Golf Corporation..

Various instructional programs are available in either private or small group sessions. Lessons include a verbal video analysis via email after every session.

Judi Gilbert

CGTF Teaching Professional

Judi Gilbert is a certified golf instructor, business owner, entrepreneur and speaker who is unwavering
in her belief that building capability in people and teams will help organizations thrive and allow
people to triumph.

From an early age, Judi excelled at multiple sports including softball and ice hockey before taking up
the game of golf over 30 years ago. Judi played varsity ice hockey and studied Communications at
York University and in 2022 she was inducted into the Belleville’s Sports Hall of Fame in the player
category for hockey.

Judi stumbled upon golf one day when her brother was looking for a playing partner. According to
Judi, she was hooked, and it wasn’t long before she became a regular fixture at the local courses. As
an instructor, Judi is passionate about infusing enthusiasm and knowledge into her students that will
help them hone their skills, have fun and just maybe, like her, get hooked.

In addition to instructing golf, Judi spends much of her time sharing her 35 years of management
experience with her business clients that allows her to guide individuals and teams through critical
conversations and help them create practical and achievable goals. She is an accomplished leadership
coach and facilitator who has extensive experience working in both the public and private sector,
including six years as the Executive Director for United Way Hastings & Prince Edward. As a facilitator she leads organizations and teams in the areas of Strategic Planning, Board Governance,
Crisis Communication, Policy Development, Risk Management, and Respectful Behaviour and Assertive
Communication to name a few.

Judi is also the author of The Next Shift: A Guide to Identify Your Core Skills and Successfully Transition
from Sports. Her book has combined her passion for sport and her desire to help athletes recognize
their skills beyond the course, rink, field, court, pool, or pitch.
